>live in a backwoods, 75% trump county
>there was still a no kings protest with 250 attendees
>less than a dozen counterprotestors bothered to show up
I'm convinced that that MAGA movement has almost completely fizzled out and it's just like a few thousand incels and a few million bots on the internet creating any illusion of positive sentiment

Same. I live in a deep red rural town in Texas. There used to be Trump flags flying on every house and truck. But in the past few months all these flags have disappeared. Just the other day I saw my neighbors (elderly war vets who are lifelong republicans) burning their trump flags and hats in their yard.
I've talked to dozens of people who all regret voting for trump. Anyone who supports him on the internet are almost certainly bots and paid shills.

Agree. Saw it trump 3rd year of his 1st term. Zero effects on democrat politicians and Biden and democrat party double down instead. Both parties had the most unserious defenders who are addicted to the entertainment instead of being serious.

That was a proven myth. Both sides have a ton of myths about each other. But somehow keeps mindless pushing them.

While I don’t entirely agree, this is why most serious anons were accelerationists and remain so. Of course nothing will ever be fixed in the current paradigm. You’re retarded and hopelessly lost if you think that means we’ll support some Globohomo jew lefty.

It's true though. I live in the most conservative part of a really red state but I've never seen so many "I regret voting for Trump" signs in lawns. Everywhere I look, not one Trump supporter who doesn't regret it. It's crazy because everybody here voted Trump 3 times in a row, but it's obvious that this time, it was a mistake. We call him "Trump the Mistake" in my house.

I was at a bar in town on Saturday night. It's the kind of place where working class guys, truckers, and farmers go to unwind after an honest day's work, a real salt-of-the-Earth type of place. We were watching a local high school football game on the TV and one of the players happened to be named Harris, which prompted people in the bar to start talking about Kamala Harris. My dad (a coal-miner) says "y'know, I've voted red since the Reagan administration but I really should have given her a chance. I'm a fool for being so racist and sexist that I couldn't vote for a Brown woman, she was clearly the best choice." Then the local gun store owner, who is also the head of the local KKK chapter, said “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but we need to impeach Trump and Vance and replace them with Kamala.” I look around and my face is stunned. All of these hardcore Trump supporters are shaking their heads in agreement. I heard a couple “yes, sir” and “damn straight”. Everyone started nodding and agreeing, and we were talking about how she's not a billionaire so she understands the plight of the middle class. We all call her Middle Class Kamala around these parts.

She was the best candidate for the job, and the only reason she lost is because we were too racist and sexist to realize it. She was basically President for the last 4 years and our economy was booming. We call her Queen Kamala and praise her Kamalaconomy. Anyways just thought I'd throw in my two cents on the matter.

Even the biggest Trump supporters I know have completely given up on anything good they were promised, and cope with “imagine how bad Kamala would have been”. Trump did his job of associating nationalism with his fake jewish faggotry and killing it before it could become an actual threat. All that is left is to wait for America to burn out.

Why would I waste my Saturday counterprotesting a bunch of boomers LARPing that it’s the 60s again one more time before they die? In my town it was literally 9 people. (My brother sent me a picture when he drove by it) Two were under 50. They were both >300 lbs and were dressed like juggalos. One was in an inflatable pikachu costume, I couldn’t tell how old they were.

>I'm convinced that that MAGA movement has almost completely fizzled out and it's just like a few thousand incels and a few million bots on the internet creating any illusion of positive sentiment

Probably, but the MAGA personality is kind of old, so who knows what will step in its place. The Republican Party is probably very confused right now on how to get voters reengaged, the MAGA identity worked because for the average voter, identities and mythos are easier to sell and therefore, bind people than actual facts, data, ideas.

I'm more convinced that there are a lot of "Quiet Conservatives" out among everybody else, even in liberal cities. I'm out of Denver, and the number of times I've heard a coworker or a random person in a public place make a comment under their breath about current politics, or the homeless, makes me realize a lot of it is just suppression of right leaning thinking. Right now the socially acceptable party is the left party, you can walk right into the average white-collar workplace and talk your typical left-wing arguments about the homeless or what we should do for welfare or a lot of issues, and your co-workers, HR would probably not even bat an eye, because "helping the homeless" and "diversity and inclusion" are socially acceptable for now. But the pendulum always swings back, so eventually those places will realize the left polices don't really work or get exploited, and they'll end up overreacting like a teenager overcorrecting when they're learning to drive.

The beliefs are there in people's hearts and minds, it's figuring out how to get them all in a state where they feel comfortable expressing it that becomes a problem.

I drove by a few of these No Kings protests while out and about in Denver. The vast majority of people standing around on the sidewalks were middle age, or really old people. The younger ones looked like your usual students who enjoy protesting, and a mix of they/them SJW types. Almost ALL of them were white. I did have to say, it was nice to shop with 1/3rd less dipshits in my usual shopping spots, though Sams Club (full of Hispanics) was as crowded as always, I did see a Pikachu and a Barney The Dinosaur costume, which made me lose any sense of credibility for the protest, as if there was any to begin with lol.

I think the right mostly wanted to ignore the protests. They made national news, but like a few people I've read on the internet have mentioned, the protest was Yet Another Occupy Protest--in which people show up but have ZERO follow through. Regardless of one's politics, if you ARE going to protest, the protest should be a warning, then action occurs, be it strikes or whatever.

Anon, they don't even have to participate anymore. They've won.
Democrats are burning cash faster than biden in order to win back voters and it has only backfired tremendously. Which brings me back to my point, republicans can literally nothing and still win.

That's how badly democrats have shit the bed this time lmao
