i went to a for-profit college, while everyone bitch about how they felt scammed, i busted my ass every day doing projects, and didnt whine or complain
i worked on some very high-profile video games before the industry went woke and turned into shit, i am now enjoying a very challenging job at a tech company
you never stop learning things and doing side projects. not asking you to L2Code or anything, but you should always have something to show with your free time
if you like photography, learn to take better photos, there are plenty of resources online, learn about lighting, composition, etc
if you like cooking, practice, learn different recipes
if you like to work with your hands, make stuff, doesnt have to be an exoskeleton suit, but even simple things like finding things to fix will help you understand how things are put together, who knows, maybe you can start fixing things for your friends and later charge people money for it
you just have to practice, always practice, sharpen your own sword
when you are sharpened, people depend on you to cut through the bullshit, money is just the side effect of that because people will pay you big bucks to solve their problems, and everyone has problems, every organization has problems, every culture has problems
you cant
> wish for the process to be quick
> wish for someone to come save you
> wish for things to fall into place without your push
just accept that you're not lucky enough for any of those things to happen. you still have decades and decades of your life left, that's a lot of time to hone your skills
most importantly, you need to understand what it means to be "saved"
it's not that God will magically reach out to you and make you wealthy, the definition of "saved" is knowing the direction that leads to life and growth. read the bible and pray. do not be afraid to tell god your problems. do have faith, do not live a nihilistic life. the world is fucked, you don't have to go along with it
