Jesus Christ. I thought this was an edgy joke. It's not a joke. Well it is one, but you get what I'm saying.

It's safe to inhale carbon dioxide as long as you get enough oxygen. Your body can only detect too high of co2 levels, but not low oxygen levels.

There is a recreational drug called "carbogen" which is a 50/50 mix if you want to feel like your suffocating for fun.

I hate liberals, but I genuinely can't stand being around "right wingers". It's all attitudes masquerading as thinking, the chud meme is devastating when you realize it isn't really a meme, but an archetype.

And one thing I've noticed is that their elderly just die agonizing deaths because they don't take care of themselves and then throw everything at the wall before they die.

A lot of those things are symptoms of higher brain functions gone awry (even homosexuality), so maybe it does """work""" by destroying parts of your intellect lmao

Co2 does not harm your brain. Lack of oxygen does.

You need carbon dioxide to survive. You can just go around breathing pure oxygen for extended periods of time. You probably confused carbon dioxide with carbon monoxide.

dont we exhale co2? can i just hold my breath to treat myself?

This would actually make sense then
the treatments are just enough concentrations (with perfectly healthy proportions of oxygen)
to trigger fight or flight
the adrenal system activates, all sorts of fun metabolic stuff happens with mitochondria, and the person (in a sense) forcibly becomes healthier.
Particularly when done in a safe environment where individuals are entirely in control, it becomes a bit of anxiety training. Helping people deal with the FEELINGS of panic, and practicing mental fortitude to remain calm despite them.
See: Iceman. Wim Hoff.
Ignore much of the mumbojumo. The breathing exercises do exactly this. Hyper oxygenate, then hypo oxygenate. CO2 builds in the system, and triggers the same effect - even though you still have plenty of oxygen in your system to avoid (much) retardation
Anyway, point here is there has been a lot of clinical study on Wim Hoff's breathing exercise, and it is legit.

Except in the case of a breathable CO2 cell, you can always have enough oxygen, while still triggering the 'panic' response, all while exercising the exact same measures of self control - and benefiting from the immune/metabolic benefits (possibly).

Seems completely legit. I don't see any reason many issues couldn't be addressed by simple application of breathing high CO2 (given sufficient oxygen) in a therapeutic regimen. Maybe not literally everything listed, but placebo works, and you absolutely will feel something breathing CO2. I'm not entirely sold the drowning experience is just CO2, but sure. Granting your point, I see all of this as exceptionally plausible.

Also I love wim hof he's great. The medical industry avoids basic things that are healthy, because it's cheap and can't be made super profitable. These Carbogen machines are a few thousand, they would probably be $20,000 with medical pricing.

Would easily be worth it.
Setup as a 'spa' for health nuts. Face down on massage table. Client holds the respirator them self - no straps. If something breaks, they pass out, drop the respirator, and continue breathing normally until they wake up. Operate in well ventilated rooms.
And that's just fail safe if the machines malfunction.
Wim Hoff doesn't even take that long. If it is just CO2 triggering fight or flight, patients would be in and out in less than half the time. 5-10 minutes tops. Three circuits, resetting between each 'panic' session.

Starting to think this might be a legitimate business opportunity. I'm going to get in touch with a jew alternative medicine guy I know. Surely nothing could go wrong

you expected expensive studies of thousands exploring the utility of something free?
Test it yourself. Takes about 15m and some pride hyperventilating like an idiot.

I read a book about this years back, it's called The Oxygen Advantage, pic related
It's about how most people don't realise that they don't fully breathe out, and stale oxygen builds up in the lungs or some shit
