we tried that already. its one of the few things Americans will actually fight for. that's why its never touched and is widely accepted. that's part of the reason all other drugs are illegal, because their users wont say shit and just accept it. now alcohol is the only thing we are allowed to have to feel good.

No. Things shouldn't be banned just because you lack self control. You're the problem, not alcohol.
Also it's impossible to ban effectively because of how easy it is to make. You'll just create a black market and everyone who wants to drink will keep drinking.
