For real, the one at my parents still works and they paid like $100 for it in the 70’s why the fuck is this so hard. I don’t want AI or Programs, or Internet, or a fucking screen, or LEDs, or a speaker, or fucking anything. I just want it to work the way old machines worked. I do not want to need to run it twice just to rinse off cloths, or restart the dryer 3-4 times. The machines now suck and fail all the time.

Its intentional, they want it to last just long enough for the warranty to expire then catastrophically fail so you have to buy a new one. Same for all appliances.

White Americans aren't going to work in factories. You would have to import brown people, same as with agriculture. Wouldn't you rather leave manufacturing out of the country if it meant you didn't have to import brown people and chemicals and shit?

People don't realize the chinks not only make products, they make the components of the product in the same factory.
Working on an assembly line like
>pic related
Is mind-numbingly boring and pays like crap. But can you imagine being the guy who assembles the blender blade all day on an assembly line?

Even if manufacturing is brought back to feed the consumerist beast, its not going to be like 1920's Ford plants with good wages and niggers kept out of management positions.

They do. Most appliances stores sell these still. They suck ass, but they're less than half the price of the medium quality washer/drier combos so they're nice if you're poor.

>bragging about his expensive appliance breaking
So you just like being inconvenienced every 9 years and 11 months because Sheckleberg at GE and Miele need to make an extra 7% on every machine by using inferior parts? If you're paying a higher price wouldn't you prefer a higher quality product rather than having the same product as the poor guy but in a shinier package with a longer warranty?
>pic semi-related
Your dryer probably has this same motor and belt assembly as the other anons and both will break eventually. The only difference is yours says "premium" on the outside and has a 10 year as opposed to 5 year warranty.

every gamer knows warranties are a load of shit. nobody is coming to fix anything of yours ever, and if they do there's going to be a couple Gs bill. just buy something that works for cheap and fix it yourself or replacement. the megacorp doesn't fucking care, boomers didn't even watch evil dead they don't even know. boomers need to rope already

You can still get a medium sized barebones fridge, for a semi reasonable price if you just say “no” to all the upsells. I bought one for myself a few years ago and I helped my mother buy one earlier this year.

You can but the compressors are different now. They run much longer and at variable speeds, because starting the compressor takes a lot more energy than to keep it running a long time at a low speed. Running longer adds stress, and variable speeds add complexity. So yeah even though you skipped out on the ice maker and fancy doors, the base components are also affected.

That motor and belt tensioner assembly is from a dryer from 2005. All i did was replace the drum belt when it snapped and its still working. No dryer has a 20 year warranty and the belt is a wear item not covered by warranties. You're just an idiot who thinks expensive+long warranty=good instead of taking a tiny bit of effort and brain power to research quality manufactures before buying.
Do you drive a hyundai smart ass? It has a long warranty so it must be better than the Ferrari.

They legally can't. EPA fucked appliances for electrical and water consumption. Your newest washer may be a 2018 top load Speed Queen. Otherwise you have to buy a commercial model as those are exempt from EPA regulations.

They increasingly don't work like this anymore. Most of these kinds of sweatshop factories are now in india or other shitholes. China's factories are all becoming heavily automated.

Boomers and retard americans are sleeping on what's going on in manufacturing and whenever they think 'factory' their retard pea brain imagines 3rd world conditions and not an automated car factory full of robots.

We've got a huge problem with the vast majority over the age of 35 being an absolute dumbfuck when it comes to technology. Even the millenials are half dumbshit about it and will cry about electric cars and nuclear power.
