You can but the compressors are different now. They run much longer and at variable speeds, because starting the compressor takes a lot more energy than to keep it running a long time at a low speed. That motor and belt tensioner assembly is from a dryer from 2005. All i did was replace the drum belt when it snapped and its still working.
