I'ts not the farmers. It's the meatpackers. Ranchers sell to meatpackers and feedlots.
Beef is probably being price manipulated the same way medicines/drugs are/were being price manipulated which usually comes down to middle man trickery, during the process of design/development, manufacturing, packaging and selling across borders at a premium. It probably involves something close to insider trading too.
The fact that so many people are insisting that the problem is the ranchers, actually kind of proves Trumps point about them getting blamed for shit the meatpackers are doing.

"Free market" is a P-coded term.
The previous administrations weren't free market. Just look at the 2008 financial crash and "too big to fail". Governments meddle. The globalist administrations meddled in ways to outsource and import and we attempting to phase out American Nationals with mass immigration and voter reform to get to that "united hemisphere" Hillary Clinton was talking about.
So Trump right now is breaking and resetting the economy so that the US becomes more self sufficient. So now is a pretty good time to be an American Nationalist as you're more of a priority. For leftists and globalists, this will be a horror story because the middle men are being cut out and questions about loyalties are being thrown around.
People need to realise and articulate the point that political nationalists and loyalists, are a higher class of people, first class or gold class citizens and thus should have the most freedoms, rewards and securities over freemarket globalists who are 3rd class and leftists who are 10th class semi-people who shouldn't have many or any rights and must be treated as subordinates and inferiors to politically and morally superior people like nationalists.
