As someone who watches both brands I hate the counter-programming because then I have to go back and watch the PPV I choose not to watch that day (the NXT ones) and wrestling just isn't as fun to me on a VOD than watching it live and getting to shitpost about it live

I get that they do this to try and hurt Tony, but aren't they shooting themselfs in the foot? WWE have signed more AEW talent than vice versa over the last year.

How are they evaluating who to sign next if AEW can't build up their own top wrestlers for them to try and take? I don't think it's very ideal to completely run AEW to the ground, since they do their part in trying to build up talent like the indies do for WWE to take some on eventually. Otherwise they only have their programs for other athletes to become wrestlers and TNA, I guess.

I doubt they will sign anyone from NJPW since it's pretty much dead of anyone with star power to bring in and the last one was Nakamura and look where he is now.
