the problem with the whole "go to the indies and grind" mentality is that it's not the same now. WWE invested so many resources into the women's development that unless you drastically improve you're probably not coming back. and it's hard to improve a lot wrestling a 3/10 shitter in front of 20 people. and AEW changed their hiring approach so they aren't even looking at former WWE people anymore, so they've lost that stepping stone for plus Ring of Honor.
