OZAWA's gimmick is much more than that. It's outright mockery of NOAH's tired out structure done in a comedic way. From the start with trying to expose Kaito as a liar to calling out the senpai/kohai structure when feuding with Masa Kitamiya over dojo protocol (before they just randomly tossed him into the same stable), that's why he's za Rearu Reberu. It's more than just Saya Kamitani dressing in black and sticking her tongue out before acting cutesy on a variety show, but even her turn had SOME reason to happen.

Tsuji down to stealing the original Los Ingobernables logo is essentially just doing a nicer riff of what Naito was doing, while Narita is a heel with no story as he's just another EVIL orbiter and zero heel presence since his promo work is just rambling baka over and over again complete with boring, heatless limbwork. You can sort of fix Tsuji by booking him strong since his dynamic with the other young guys is already kinda Okada-esque, Narita even more than Shota needs to be sent somewhere to learn more.

I disagree. While true that New Japan needs a better product, I do think they're missing a lot of the key ingredients. Large gaijin wall to overcome is a puro staple and one of the easiest things to book. They also need an anchor like Suzuki was. Always credible and almost always delivered when it matterd. They don't have that right now. I genuinely don't understand Gedo's obsession with skinny mid white dudes. I guess he's hoping to walk into another Bullet Club.

That and Gedo needs some Inoki spontaneity. Do go full Inoki, but for fucks sake, give someone new the belt and see what happens. 1st title reigns are almost always the audition for later ones anyway.

Western wrestling shifted from burly muscle men and giant hosses to acrobats and jumping beans over the past few decades. Young western wrestlers decided to model themselves after 2000's junior wrestlers in Japan and your typical failed footballer or strongman started to play in overseas leagues and 3rd tier MMA organizations.

The Lio Rush/Top Flight type of ilk is pretty awful but they definitely offer more value than Don Fale
