Welcome back, everyone, for another exciting episode of Saturday Night Metal, brought to you by Kino Wrestling for Autistic Bastards and me, your host Pepe Von Erich. For those who may not know, this is a wrestling show made specifically for /pw/. I thought it was about time we had a fed of our own, and this is the result. A good idea + lots of work + historically high levels of autism = K-WAB Wrestling. Things are going well, and we are moving right along with the development of the fed. I didn't do a preview thread yesterday because some IRL matters demanded my attention, but I don't think that's too big a deal. The preview threads will eventually become kind of a mini-show but that's a topic for another day. Once again, I wish to thank all of you out there reading because without you, all this work would be for nothing. Now, with all that out of the way, let's get to tonight's card. This is a special 9/2 commemorative edition of Saturday Night Metal, which will include:

On our last episode, we began the tournament to crown our first K-WAB World Heavyweight Champion. But before the show, we received word that Sabu had been committed to an insane asylum and would need a replacement. This was followed by footage of Raja Jackson's contract signing. In our first match, Hulk Hogan defeated Rick Rude despite some attempted interference from Bobby Heenan, thus eliminating Rude from the tournament. Later, Shingo Takagi pulled off a tremendous upset when he knocked Kazuchika Okada out of the tournament as well. We then received word from the Frenly Apu News Network that the Pajeets of Pain had escaped from jail and HHH was out of the hospital. After a quick commercial break, Vader got a crushing victory over Jake the Snake Roberts, advancing to the semifinals. After a quick promo from Stone Cold, the mystery man who has been appearing in promos for weeks was finally revealed as David Benoit. Ric Flair was revealed as the replacement for Sabu, and he defeated Sting to advance himself to the semifinals in which he will face Vader this week. Grug then debuted the first full episode of Rock Talk, where Jim Cornette continues to allege that Hulk Hogan is a cheater (among other things).

Finally, we had the big main event, which was so good it needed its own highlight reel. Gigadimes champion Kane took on psycho shooter Raja Jackson in a no-holds-barred MMA match. Raja began by trying the same ground and pound tactics that he used against Syko Stu, which was working well for him until Kane broke out the pizza cutter and carved up Raja's head. A chokeslam through a table wore the shooter down even more, though he continued to fight back with flurries of punches. Finally, Raja just ran out of gas and Kane KO'd him with a single left hand. Then, most of the locker room came out to join in the fun, beating Raja horribly. Subhojeet Mukherjee came out to help Raja, but he was quickly chased away. Finally, Kane ended the brutal spectacle by dousing the challenger in gas and setting him on fire. According to our sources at the hospital, Raja will live but it might take him some time to recover from Kane's epic receipt.

Tonight, our main event will be one of the tournament semifinal matches, specifically Ric Flair Vs Vader. It should be noted that Hogan Vs Shingo is of equal importance, but only one match can be the main event. I didn't want to do a "double main event" because that just seems silly. Ric Flair got a very impressive victory over Sting last week, while Vader has recently scored wins over Cactus Jack and Jake Roberts and remains undefeated thus far. In fact, that win over Jake Roberts made him the #1 contender. Who will advance to the finals? Stay tuned and see.

Tonight, President Von Erich has signed a /pw/ legend to the ranks of K-WAB Wrestling and he will be making his first appearance tonight. I am able to do tag tournaments, iron man matches, deathmatches, and G1-style round robin tournaments. So, all of those will be done at some point and I've already done a couple deathmatches. Believe it or not, I have also figured out a way to do a battle royale in Firepro, although it will not be an over-the-top-rope battle royale. I have even figured out how to do a ladder match, which required some creative workarounds (no mods, by the way). That being said, I don't want to use gimmick matches all the time because then they aren't special anymore.

Ok, on the subject of belts, the current plan is to have:

>Cruiserweight Championship
>World Women's Championship

The thing that makes the Gigadimes title unique is the fact that it functions as a universal midcard title. This way, we don't have to have a US tag title or an intercontinental women's title or anything like that. Anyone can compete for the gigadimes title, whether they be heavyweights, cruiserweights, women, animals, or pretty much anyone else.

So I was the one doing the other show last month called "UPWG" that was the generals of /pw/ wrestling each other. I've decided to go another route with it and reboot due to the fact that I don't want to be limited by what FPW is capable of doing, even with mods. I plan on making the show an animating similar to Celebrity Deathmatch that will feature super moves similar to those in Def Jam and WWE All Stars. Yes I know I can just make the moves in FPW, but I plan on even making the matches occurring in places outside of a wrestling ring, and with animating it I have no limitations one what I can and can't do. Here is just a test animation of two blank models doing a simple stomp flip out move.

Firepro has 6 arenas that I can use, but I chose to use one as the "home arena" and the others will be used for gigashows (special events). I plan to eventually mod the game and then I can make custom arenas, but I am very cautious about modding because I have a lot of time and work in my Firepro game.

The "world tour" thing is actually an idea on my list, but it means having to do a lot of extra work so I don't really want to do it right now. There's a limit to how many advancements I can make per week but that one is on the list.

For now it's all Firepro but I am definitely open to the use of other games. Firepro is really good but it does have certain limitations so I would like to have at least one other game I can use. That's another one of those advancement projects.
