Not really but kratom played a role. What really killed Sabu was the absolute irresponsibility and greed of Joey Janela and GCW owner Brett Lauderdale. It was a barbed wire match and they didn't properly fasten the wire to the posts. when sabu got whipped into the wire, it gave way and he went out of the ring, hitting the back of his head on the concrete. The last time we saw Sabu alive he was bleeding from the back of his head as a result of that fall. Janela is filth and if I ever see him in person I will stab him.
