I got into it like 4 years ago, when only a couple of the gals in Stardom were under 18 (and I skipped their matches because I don't care to see younger wrestlers).
It's honestly better than you think it is and one of the only companies worth watching at the moment. That's a shoot.

I've watched some of it for women wrestlers that I've enjoyed in WWE but there's too much stuff I dislike for me to watch it regularly purely for the jap girls. I don't like the way the matches are laid out, I don't like how most girls look unthreatening and dress like J-pop idols, I don't particularly like the wrestling style in general, either too phony or "let's take unnecessary neck bumps and stiff the shit out of each other because we can't make this shit look believable any other way"
I just don't get invested in it, the audience repulses me, the aesthetic repulses me, there is some good talent somewhere in there but it's just beneath too much shit that put me off
