I got nothing to play until NG4 comes out in October...
I'm strongly considering Stellar Blade but the gameplay didn't really blow me away.

Lately I've been playing a lot of Marvel Rivals. Also been replaying XCOM on Ironman mode, and I'm getting into Into the Breach. Occasionally playing Need for Speed Underground to shut off my mind and just race. I think that's about it.

Honestly doesn't seem to be that good. Unless the story is something exceptional I'd rather save the 70GB+ for something else, but that's just me.

What game doesn't have advertisements? How is Expedition 33 any different from other games in that regard? They have been quite low key compared to other games, and their success has been largely word of mouth and glowing reviews.

Game is coming to it's final, just one last final stand mission.
Tanya Tormens is gonna make her appearance on TV, and expose crimes of the Dictator to the World. We've got the tape with crimes (VHS no less!). We've got all weapons, we gonna kick the ass.

P.S. I am playing this game on the 4090 BTW, I wanted some non real time cozy strategy, and couldn't find anything new, so loaded 10 years old save.

Guy I played a game with starting ~15 years ago and somewhat recently too is on my 'cord friends list (I only use it for voice chat to play games) has now changed his name to a girl name and put up a troon flag as his profile image. Ape Escape 1 on PS1 emulator. The game is a masterpiece, and I don't even like 3D platformers that much usually.

Big Red Adventure - A DOS era P&C adventure. Graphics and jokes are great, but the game is buggy as hell and has terrible puzzles. I'm finishing it with a walkthrough.

I'd say they're completely different games.
I would describe NieR as more of a story-based hack and slash, while AI Limit is a Soulslike with very satisfying Sekiro-like parrying.

Working on nightreign. I play all the pointlessly hard sword fighting games and stellar blade was fine but not that cool other than being big titty bitches sword fighting game. WUKONG was fine but not that impressive, fun world though and the flavor is a lot different than your usual castle or sci-fi slop. Best non-From one in recent memory is Lies of P though and I think they just put out a DLC too, which I have yet to get to.

First Souls games run is so based. I marathonned them back to back when I started, 1 2 and 3. And you've got even more content now if you want to continue that binge. Bloodborne, Sekiro, Elden Ring of course. Your soul can get pretty dark by the end of it. Really considering giving 1-3 another shot, I'm certain I've gotten a lot more gud since my first pass through.

You can access the DLC at chapter 9 (out of 11) of the base game. It's 5 chapters long.

It's harder than anything in the base game, so you might want to do it after beating the base game, before starting NG+.
Although there is an argument for doing the DLC as soon as you get access to it so you don't miss a few new voice lines in the base game.
It being harder than the base game means that if you are rusty, you might want to play though a new game just to get some practice. That's what I did. That, and my save was NG+. I was getting 2-hit killed. Not the best to jump straight into.

It's not stand-alone. It's set in the past and expands on all the central characters. Especially those immediately related to Carlo.

I said it was very good. But that's not to say it's perfect. The first boss has camera issues and the second last boss is a little BS.
Some of the most kino boss fights in the game. Levels are good, generally less linear than the base game.
I love the narrative.
All the new weapons and legion arms are good.

I've been playing and getting better with Rastan. I've finally beat it with credit feeding, and I want to slowly get to the point in which I get the 1CC run. On the other hand you cannot credit feed the final stage so I at least did that once. I need to iron out my strategies go defeat the stage 3 and 4 bosses, they're the most troublesome. I managed to beat the final boss within the first attempt.

There are other games I want to play as well, like Joe & Mac, and WipEout Pulse. Maybe do the arcade version of Galaxy Force 2 since I've beaten the Genesis version.

I just picked up lies of p. Its pretty great so far. They are trying so hard to be bloodborne but they are doing well at it and i love bloodborne so i dont mind.
I cant play ot around my gf though because she just starts cackling whenever somebody says "p"
