When I was a teenager, I had no friends, so all I did was listen to music and browse the Internet. Weekends, same. No going out, just staying in.

Now, it's basically the same. My 20's weren't like this. I honestly think I would have killed myself when I was young if I hadn't fell in love music.

Music is the connection between a person and their souls

like you, it helps drowning out bad thoughts and urges. more than that, it gives me peace of mind, or it helps me express my emotions, depending on how i feel and what i listen. i think music is probably the only thing that keeps me sane. playing the songs i love the most also brings me joy, even if i suck at it and then i get sad...
>>81599751
hm yes. very true!
>>81599837
what kind of music did you listen to anon?
>I honestly think I would have killed myself when I was young if I hadn't fell in love music.
same. i remember in high school i used to listen to this really good singer and he singlehandedly prevented me from dying i think. i wonder if artists know just how impactful their music can be
>>81599915
what does the music you listen to say about your soul?
>>81599989
ive always found the fact that music can indwell so many emotions into one's being incredible. mere sound waves can make you cry, happy, they can revitalize memories. its so weird and beatiful.

i agree! some feelings that music can make you feel cant even be put into words. i will try: sometimes, when i listen to certain songs, i feel like i could be in the song. like, im part of it. i feel like i live in the world where this song is based on, if it has some lyrics like that. i dunno, hard to explain!
>>81600215
>I live my life with music in the background
me too anon, i always have music on if i can. its like the background theme of my life i guess. the worst thing about work for me wasnt even the work itself, but being unable to listen to music. silence terrifies me.

I have really been digging Gaburger, Constant Companions and Summertide lately. They've been the bright point in my life for the last 6 months
Anonymous No.81600803 [Report] >>81600944
Music was what once kept me from killing myself, my goal in life. It's not called "the universal language" for nothing. But then I got old and apathy took over my whole being because in the end it did not in fact get better. I cannot say music is not important anymore but it's very rare for me to get as excited and feel the emotions, the connection to it I once did.

Still hold hope one day my brain and body will allow me to leave my mark in the form of it, that what I never expressed and nobody cared to hear so far will be understood by someone in the future. Maybe one day.

Love Birdbath too. I'll give you another track, as horrible as the world feels now it's such an amazing time for music. Maybe it makes it more important.

Music is one of my two or so autistic interests. I consistently try to listen to new stuff all the time. I have an RYM account where I have rated nearly 5000 albums so I do like music a lot. I also want to be a musician some day and listening to other music helps give me inspiration for stuff for the future.

Very true! Atmosphere is pretty much the most important thing to me in most media, whether it's movies or video games or anime, and music is the main contributor to that.

>I guess you can just wear headphones everywhere...
thats true! i cant wait until they add some function to headphones or streaming services that plays a specific song whenever you enter a city or building. i think that would be incredibly cool! (although not very good for privacy...)
>if it just had a soundtrack...
well, the songs we listen to everyday are the soundtracks of our lives pretty much. mine is plagued with way too many depressing songs though.
>>81602086

It's very feast/famine. You'll have long periods of doing nothing then a lot of 16-hour days straight or a really busy week (sometimes weekend)

I hate working and having to do things so it's the best job ever when I have nothing to do for months
This job sucks and I wanna kill myself whenever something breaks in the middle of the night or I'm doing a big project

It's okay

Rammstein is very hit or miss for me but while not as insane as some Rammstein songs Eisbrehcer make nice songs more consistently. They also span many vibes/types.

I've been in this job for almost a decade and I haven't crashed yet
But no it's a company vehicle, it's insured by the company. They do drug test you if you crash, no matter who caused it, and you'll be fired if you pop hot on anything.

Andora is from France and J-Pop inspired but the production probably lifts from French Touch artists like Justice, Breakbot, Allure. I actually got a copy of Logic and Vocaloid 6, I've never produced but it's just such a creative time in music. Another Vocaloid song I really liked was from Utsu-P, live guitars and metal by genre. The bridge at 3:26 makes me want to cry.

music is some of the most important things for me, it's my favorite art form, is some of the shit I live for, it being able to hold so much abstraction and be so tangible only through the noise and waves on the air, it's just the most beautiful thing humans can do, love all the kinds of it and still amazes me
