hello /r9k/ how are you frens doing this fine tuesday? I've been trying to get a job but I just can't find even a crappy factory job!
also I beat demon's souls last night, yeah even after all these years it's still my favorite in the series

sitting around feeling like a terminal patient since I set a ultimatum for myself. sad I wont see gta 6.

Having a comfy day robot, thanks for asking.
I'm a teacher on summer vacation so I've just been taking on one big "task" at a time in my house. For the past two days I repaired my high end PC, happy to say the time investment paid off and I'm currently posting from it now. It broke during the spring and I just set it aside in my home office. Thankfully I prefer to physically own a high end PC while retaining my mid-range one instead of upgrading it, so if anything happens to my primary I can swap to secondary.
Today I'm just going to get my car tuned up. Oil change, tires rotated, nothing crazy. There's some small household tasks like laundry, dishes, ect. to take care of but I'm finding joy in home ownership when I do things like that.
Why do you want a factory job? You could find a classified position at your local school district with comparable pay and better benefits.

I don't want to but factory jobs are the only ones that are at walking distance from my house and I HATE taking the bus, maybe once I save enough for a car I can get a job at something better, plus factory jobs are simple, I didn't graduate from highschool and I intend to finish it BUT for that I need money too!
and working retail sounds awful! I've had other factory jobs before so I'm used to them by now, but I mean I'm 26 now! it's time to get serious about saving money and I have to get my shit together, I've already wasted too much of my life.

Apply for one of the bigger security companies, and just give a damn compared to the other people there. The more senior people will give you advice, and those companies would also provide training so that you can get a licence for better jobs.

I been having one since I was a kid. Anyway, be on guard not to jump feet first into something just because you think it might move you forward. For example, marrying a woman with blue hair. Or joining the Army.

That's not to say you can't take risks, just don't overcommit.

hmmm recently I read A scanner darkly by PKD it was really good, I think it's my favorite PKD book so far. as for anime, the last one I watched were the devilman OVAs and gundam victory.
have you ever watched armored trooper votoms? that one is really good it's also a mech anime but the mechs are a bit more "realistic" I guess. it's pretty good, the spin off, armor hunter mellowlink was also pretty good
