However if you do want to ask her out, which i think why not since at worst itll give you some practice at asking people out and at best youll have a date, just strike up the usual conversation you had before, maybe pivot it to something you like (ie coffee, music, etc), and then if you find something you share an interest in, just casually ask if she'd be interested in going to *shared interest event*. If it doesn't work out for you, its easier said than done but dont feel too discouraged. It might burn for a bit, but I can assure you that when we get asked out and dont accept, we don't start thinking youre a pathetic loser, we're flattered most of the time but are just in some situation that prevents us from accepting.
