social media and modern culture has made it very difficult to enter the dating scene as a man, if you do not fullfill the platonic ideal of a male in the average females eyes, you simply will not get dates simple as. the regression of dating into exclusively online systems means dating is more shallow and looks-based than ever before, it's almost impossible for a man to meet a woman offline in a social setting and get to know her and date her the old fashioned way. most men will be rejected by far more women than women will be rejected by men, making it harder for men to put themselves out there and severely damaging their self esteem, a lot of the time these rejections are unreasonable or harsh. most women just will not give a guy a chance if he doesn't fit a certain ideal.

HOWEVER. THAT BEING SAID.

if you do not shower. if you do literally 0 exercise (im not talking about heavy lifting/cardio im talking about a non-0% of daily outdoor activity of any kind). if you have a defeatist attitude and just don't try to date ever. if you try to get women to pityfuck you. if you are disrespectful to womens boundaries. if you say things out loud in public like "women only want chad". if you do not dress well. if you do not brush your teeth. if you do not eat a healthy diet. if you do not do your laundry.
