I think I need to chop down the conifer tree. It is huge, almost touching the telephone cables.
Not sure what to do with it, I'd like to try and cut all the limbs, but leave the bits near the main stump, and try do a bonsai conifer, but it would need a good few years to grow back. I'm not sure how long I'll be here at this rented place.
Also, yes, I know it's a scruffy garden/more yard as itsflagged, with no grass.

anyway this tree is going to be a nightmare for you to trim by yourself, you're not going to be able to do it, you don't have the tools to start off, conifer branches are thick you'll need a saw, ideally a chainsaw, then you'll need a skip for all the green waste and a lot of effort to cut up the big branches
you're going to want to cut off the top, cut the bottom left, then trim it down and go from there
get someone in to do it, cost you a few hundred quid minimum though

would need to see it from the side and the rear but i'd take this bit right back, looks like its sticking out into the garden, it's going to be coming from a big branch off the trunk a bit lower down

>>81677242for one you're not getting to the trunk with an axe, its never going to happen in one go either, if that tree were to topple its going to take the wall and the house out, you'd need to take it down in sections with a chainsaw
>>81677200I'm leaving them this year, the wildlife can have them. I need to do something with it, not in the best container, but it seems to be doing well, multiple berries (only a small punnet worth).
>>81677220I need rope to get bits to fall in certain directions as well, I want to avoid the neighbours shed). I know it's not going to be easy (and I might not be able to stand on the wall to reach higher up either, due to having a fucked leg/left side of muh body).

>>81677294The landlord will just say to replace it with something. I have a house inspection tomorrow, so will bring it up then.
I am an idiot, but not completely stupid. I'm not felling the tree, like you said, do it in sections, do it carefully. I'll start by taking on the smaller outer limbs, make a bit of space, make it easier to see/get into the main trunk.
The top will be the tricky part, I can get a rope on it, but then cutting it could be tricky as the branch will have tension on it, and could pop off weirdly when cutting it.
Going out for a smoke, so will get some pics.

>The women's strike in Iceland (1975) -
90% of women went on strike, refused to work, cook or care for children for one day and it paralyzed the country.
Men should start doing this now. Women honestly think they can run the world. Let's see all the transport workers, the sewer workers, the roadworks workers, the police, warehouse/factory workers, delivery drivers, house builders and slaughterhouse workers strike for one day. This will make women suffer.
Young men don't want to do shit jobs. Women are literally living in comfort thanks to hard working men. This will no longer be a reality once the older men die out and young men not getting any sex just opt out of contributing towards women and society as a whole. Hope these cunts want more migrants from female abusing countries and are prepared to get their hands dirty in some shit job. Young men will be busy larping as forklift operators and bus drivers in their simulation vidyas.

The best way to fight back at not getting any sex or love is to simply not contribute to society. You would only be supporting women by working in a shit job they wouldn't do anyway. At least by not working, women are paying for you to exist through their taxes. Think of disability income as an insurance to keep men sane.

He knows he loses money every time, but he doesn't care because he's so indebted that the moment he has any liquid cash sitting around in his account it'll get taken to pay his debts. So instead he buys expensive electronics and takes the depreciation as an unavoidable loss whenever he sells it back to get more liquid cash again.
Surely there must be an easier way. But I guess he's just smart enough to think he's beating the system, while at the same time dumb enough to not figure out how to bleed massive amounts of money every time.

>>81677968Thing is, you won't find a single building in those countries without AC. Meanwhile over here the government has essentially banned AC as a way of artificially driving down consumer demand for electricity because their own policies have made the price of it exorbitant and the capacity of the grid is insufficient.

>>81678001used to have one of them but it wobbled a bit when you ran it and i always felt like i was about to get final destination'd
>>81677992Of course you can still buy it and use it (for now), it's just that the cost of running an AC throughout the summer is mind-boggling and most people aren't willing or capable of paying for it. That's the hand-waving obfuscation they do: "uhm, ackshully sweaty it isn't BANNED, the government has just made it prohibitively expensive to operate *smugly fold arms*".
>>81677995This. Same route they're going with cars and industry generally. Ratcheting up the price to do anything necessarily means fewer people will use it/engage with it/pursue it - a defacto ban to an increasingly large cohort of the population.
>>81678002Read above.
Also, they might literally ban it at some point, like they're planning to do with boilers, internal combustion engines and wood burning stoves.
>>81677995No I don't lol. Just looked it up and you're talking shit. It's more expensive than some countries, cheaper than others. Just as you'd expect. I'm sorry you are poor to afford it but that's not the government's fault.

>>81678010It's not particularly expensive to run AC here compared to other countries. The UK has fairly moderate energy prices and fairly mild summers. My electricity bill only goes up about 30 or 40 quid a month during the summer when I have it on. Don't talk shit please, friend.

>>81678034might be worth it for my bedroom then

Laughing at the idea of some loser sweltering in his roasting hot house and blaming everyone but himself that he can't afford air conditioning. Sort your life out lad.
Every summer all the mongs in this "first world" country complain about sweating their bollocks off in their boiling hot boxrooms, and then proceed to go on about how it only gets hot for a few days so they don't need AC. Just admit you live in poverty.
>>81678010>cost of running an AC throughout the summer is mind-boggling>1500W average for portables>Absolute worst case scenario assuming shit tier 30p/kwh leccy contract and 24/7 constant usage is about 10.80 per 24 hours>Won't run constantly due to thermostat and isn't required at night except for the fattest fatties, meaning realistically it's going to be well under a fiver a day

You lads need to redpill yourself on the CO2 question.
