What's with the weird fetishization of therapy in 2025? I remember prior to 2022 or so if I was having a bad day and vented to a friend they would generally offer advice or at least listen but nowadays people immediately go to "You should really get a therapist" or "I'm your friend not a therapist". I've had multiple therapists and none of them really did anything as most therapists are middle class sheltered people and have little in common with someone like me. Why did everyone turn into fucking robots?
It's a polite, socially-acceptable way to say "fuck off, I don't care. Stop wasting my time."
You should probably avoid or limit your interactions with anyone who makes such a "suggestion".
Everybody is at emotional capacity
>>81680781This is kinda what I assumed. Sucks to see happen though.
>>81680656 (OP)People have their own fucking problems and don't want the added burden of yours, it's really that simple, you fucking mongoloid.
>>81680656 (OP)not the answer you may be looking for but it fully applies (picrel)
>>81680834This is a very unnatural and sociopathic way of interacting with humanity. I listen to and help others and expect the same general decency in return.
>>81680656 (OP)just use anons on imageboards as therapists. its free and unless youre an ubiquitous tripfag then nobody can use any of the information against you in the future. real qualified therapists are taught to give you scripted, worthless answers to put you on meds and to keep you coming back to feed them more of your money all while you tell yourself how much of a great and emotionally in tune person you are for paying to talk to some middle aged former stacy who couldnt give less of a shit about you.
It's gross isn't it? Plus how can people trust therapists anyway. You pay them to talk to them, why would they fix you well enough to not need them anymore?
