It would be nice if all lost media became found but then the thrill from it's loss would be lost.

I want a Japanese girlfriend. I don't even think Japanese girls are the most beautiful women in the world, but having a Japanese wife would solve a bunch of problems for me. First of all, I'd have someone to practice my Japanese with, and having a partner who speaks a certain language makes you want to improve in it quicker. Second, she wouldn't think I'm weird for liking stuff like traditional Japanese dance (maybe she's a dancer, too), or any other aspects of Japanese culture. She wouldn't reduce me to an "anime fan", when I don't even watch anime anymore except for in rare cases. Lastly, I wouldn't be alone anymore, and if we're married I could fulfill my childhood dream of moving to Japan. Is it paradise? No, but it sure is infinitely better than where I'm from, so I don't feel guilty for idealizing it. Hopefully I manage to manifest this somehow.
