Some things always stays the same. But I'd be lying if I said I spend any significant amount of time here these days. Hardly lurk or post. Catalog is cancer. As a weird kid, it was interesting to find a space where the sense of community (such as it was) was based on being an outsider of one kind or another. It was 4chan so naturally that came with a lot of hate and bigotry. Now I come back as an adult for something like OP's pic related. There's more kids on the "wow we hate being virgins" board than anyone cares to admit, and I know how easily the shit here could've sent me down a bad path. The kids need guidance, but at the same time, there does seem to be less straight up "woman hate threads" and the transphobic spam seems to have finally subsided. All things considered, compared to how it was before, I think the kids are gonna be alright.

when I was a teenager this board was the only place where I felt I was around likeminded people, it was the only place I felt I could hate on normalfags without being ostracised
10 years later I still fucking hate normalfags with everything I have, despite technically being one by this boards standards
