And it always works on brainlets because to a certain degree, they know they're stupid so "trust me bro, this stuff is beyond your comprehension" works and they never even bother to ask questions or do research.

Experts are usually backed by more experts and verifiable evidence. Not by an ancient book full of inconsistencies and wild, clearly impossible stories. There's a big difference.

The experts say smoking cigarettes is healthy

What I'm saying is you have to have a healthy dose of skepticism with every information you take in these days. But you'd have to be a retard to place ancient scriptures on the same level as scientific studies. Yes, some of those studies are paid by lobby groups who want to push something to get rich. But in the vast majority of cases, science works and is trustworthy. If it didn't, humanity would simply not be at the level it is today.

There is no difference between a medieval zealot and a modern just trust the experts despite never doing research yourself zealots.
Your argument is simple semantics and I am not even saying this to dissuade you, the ideologue.

Scripture and science are two different things. You know that some studies are wrong because other scientists have gone over and corrected them. But until then, you believed in something very wrong. There are so many passages in religion that while not everything may be as relevant today as it was then, a good amount of it is absolutely and fully relevant. If our politicians and corporations had morality in their leadership, our world would be a much better place. Instead they have panels of experts and backdoor dealings that screw people over. Science isn't going to make the world a better place, it's just going to make us understand it.

Brainlets that think they aren't brainlets are the worst brainlets. Even Socrates from thousands of years ago knew that wisdom is knowing that you know nothing

This >Blindly believe the experts and be like a medieval peasant >Science can be wrong >Scientists can lie for their own gain >Science can be political
Im not even saying you shouldnt believe in gravity but you should never be a dogmatic le science believer.

btw they say this referring to romans 9
romans 9:19-20
One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who is able to resist his will?" But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, "Why did you make me like this?"
