I believe most of the users on the internet, especially on platforms like Reddit, 4chan, and social media, are actually under 18. The reason we don't see this reflected in stats is because they all report being over 18 to bypass age restrictions and avoid getting banned. This creates a skewed perception that adult users are in the majority. In reality, younger users are way more active online because they have more free time adults are busy working or doing other things outside their homes. So, a lot of what we see online, from trends to the content being shared, is driven by people who aren't actually adults. I believe this is the case on /r9k/ too.
