Absolutely not. I got middling math grades in highschool, took almost no sciences, and dropped out of college. I can do basic math at best. I forget very quickly, and adapt poorly.

I consider myself incredibly smart and this conception of myself is only corroborated by my grades/test scores and general performance level at whatever I choose to apply myself to, however that being said it's never enough and the presence of people at or near my cognitive level makes me unhealthily competitive and I'll take this energy to pretty antisocial extremes if left unchecked

I'm good at practical problem-solving and at understanding people's intentions and wants when they cant explain them well. So im able to help out people often. That i think makes me seem smart when I talk to people sometimes.

But im a retard and maintaining relationships, talking to girls and doing anything to progress my life. So in that way I'm borderline retarded.

I don't understand how so many people know their IQ score, I'm 30 and not once throughout my education had I ever encountered an opportunity to get it tested, the closest analogue I can think of is testing into a gifted program in 3rd grade with a CogAt assessment but other than that there were no routes that involved taking a full-fledged IQ test, I just assumed it was some archaic metric that people don't really use anymore

This is provably untrue, the higher IQ you are the happier you are because navigating life takes next to no mental effort, there was a study done that concluded the 120-129 range yielded the happiest individuals while the lowest IQ cohort were the most discontent and the trend probably doesn't stop there but that was the highest range they tested
