The main reason is that I want MS to stop making the OS worse with every iteration and release. They always add features I don't want (literally this morning a notification popped up like "hi im copilot! ask me anything!" so i had to turn it off in registry) and take away features I liked in 7/10 or reintroduce them but worse.
I just want more control of the features I enable/disable, avoid all their fucking bloat and telemetry, etc. But realistically I also want to play ancient games so I either need a dual boot or lrn2wine. That and for newer games I'm under the impression linux GPU drivers go neglected.
