My brother I can't even fathom a few months into the future. I thought I'd be dead seven years ago and I haven't been able to long-term plan ever since. I've exclusively been living in the present and will until I die, whenever that may be

I'm not planning a future. All the systems people were granted for retirement age are all but gutted and gone now. By the time I'm 60 or older, I'll probably still be working trying to stay afloat, because if not, I'll be homeless. All I can hope is my mind goes before I suffer too much, and happily walk around bare naked at the bus stop.

Well unlike all the other sorry saps in this thread, I do have a plan and it will come to fruition.

I already have hundreds of thousands saved up and im not even half way through my 20s yet. My investments will continue to grow in a compounding fashion, and I will also be reinvesting more money to accelerate my wealth further. I will soon have a masters degree and already have a 6 figure job lined up, plus ive planned a residence with minimal expenses. I will have a lot of expendable income and will be able to play with my money and grow it for decades.

Worst case, I die on a mountain of gold. Best case, quality rejuvenation/immortality medication is invented and im able to afford it. Looks like little old me would get to stick around for a long time. They are already making significant advances in youth pills, so I dont believe Ill ever be in that sorry elderly state.
