This being a debate is the funniest thing to me, but I would guess that there aren't protests because parents actively choosing to ruin their childrens lives is in its own way a form of natural selection and population control. In the report the conclusions they came to: yes there was a slight decrease on average in pressure-based sensitivity as the machine they had for testing only measured pressure. However, circumcised members were at times more sensitive in areas around the glands, and circumcision scars.

They essentially said the testing isn't thorough enough to be scientifically significant as they don't test for abrasive sensitivity, hot/cold sensitivity, and their pool of test subjects was typically older males 45+ as many young males were too shy to participate.
