Not OP, just love this sentence though. Gave me a chuckle honestly. And as much as I'd love to change society, the current society benefits those who have the most power with the way it stands, so there ain't much we can do about it. They have the guns, the nukes, the economy as a whole wrapped around their fingers, and half the food supply. Even if we tried to band together, they'd just starve us slowly, like they already are.

the world isnt just and people are not made equal, a lot of us are born without enough desirable/positive qualities to be considered useful by society. And really, that's why we can't be happy- because we are not useful, neither in the workplace nor in social relationships. If you're surgeon you make people happy, if you're charming you make people happy even if you're a neet. So people give back to you, people make you happy in turn.

They don't "own" anything. They pay people fake money they printed out of thin air from private bank run the economy. It's extremely easy to outmaneuve them as long as you have enough people on your side to manufacture stuffs and run your own economy.

depends whether you can make yourself useful or not. Maybe it can be done with virtues and job training, that is what I am attempting to do right now, but my apathetic, clumsy, forgetful nature hampers me greatly and I may fail and have to hang myself in a few years.
