>this place has come close, but I still don't feel like sharing everything.
i get you. i don't share absolutely everything, either. everyone has their secrets and that's ok.

>the plot is kinda meh
the writing is so incompetent that i came out of the movie thinking immortan joe was pretty tame for a wasteland tyrant and actually had good ideas to make things actually better. how hard can it be to write an actually despicable, irredeemable asshole you can just get rid off at the end of a movie?

>those visuals didn't make me gasm
it is visually impressive. gotta give 'em that.

>I always considered myself easy to please with games I don't take serious, but even I was horribly disappointed with it.
i feel like we're at a point where everything has become so bad that even the most complacent of people are getting frustrated. they only have to deliver the bare minimum and can't even manage that.

>My favorite still has to be far cry 2, nothing gets close to that vibe.
man. that was released a while ago. wasn't it?

>bethesda could fucking never.
probably not. fallout is nothing more than that game with the quirky 50s aethetics at this point

>can't wait to get horribly disappointed again!
well, at least you're still ready to get something and try it out yourself. i just look at something once, shrug and don't even bother. speaking of terrible disappointments, though! gamescom night live tomorrow! :D

>dark souls did it well
miyazaki told the artist to go for dark without relying on the gross-factor and it really paid off.

>i assume berserk too (never read it)
me neither. too much sexual violence for me.

>leave it to the japanese ig
needs people who don't hate your culture and history to make stuff like that.

well, they see you struggling and want to help, but don't understand what your goals are. it's quite frustrating at times, isn't it?

>this will be an accidental test to see if im even worthy of a job. what if i oversleep?
it happens. a least it happened to me some time ago. ^^' mixed up schedules, but luckily my boss was able to take my shift. not that big of an issue most of the times, but it depends on how long you've been working there and how reliable you usually are.

>i cant worry too much, but I have to worry to an extent.
needs to be balanced. like most things.

>I was kept busy by her, and we shared some food. I guess I try to share food with the trash now.
maybe you could freeze it and eat it later? would be a shame if you had to throw it out.

maybe oneitis, maybe just figured out that for himself the juice isn't worth the squeeze.

>im not manifesting that future, Im doubting my luck.
well, i can pat you on the back for staying single, but i don't feel like you're the stoic hermit type, so i'm not sure that would do you any good if i did that.

typical... (-_-;) the place where i go for hikes has some routes for riders as well. i try my best to stay out of kicking distance from those things. nothing has happened so far, but you never know. especially with dogs also being around.

>irredeemable asshole you can just get rid off at the end of a movie?
they have to make the villains atleast a bit likeable, if they're to live up to the previous movies.
>gotta give 'em that.
yep, but that's the only thing I'll give modern hollywood.
>they only have to deliver the bare minimum and can't even manage that.
there also has been such a creative drought and half baked shit the past couple of years. I was thinking of buying starfield, since the whole ship combat and building really appeals to me but I won't spend 70euro on a game that outside of that is empty as fuck, maybe I'll get it on sale but for the rest I'll just look for something that's better at doing those things.
>that was released a while ago. wasn't it?
2008? I'm not sure actually, it was one of the first games I ever really played and I had a blast doing it. snipers were so fucking overpowered since they had the whole wounded mechanic for enemies, so you could daisy chain an entire outpost into the open and pick them off one by one.
>fallout is nothing more
pretty much, the only thing I really like about fallout 4 was the base building and weapon customization, but all of those went to the expense of other critical things. guess that's a trend with bethesda games nowadays. Skyrim was the last game that felt truly immersive and alive.
>gamescom night live tomorrow! :D
what's that? I think I heard of a friend going to gamescom but idk if that's the same thing.
>dark without relying on the gross-factor
I also like that they didn't get rid of the gross stuff, but instead made efforts to incorporate it into the further setting instead of relying on it.
>too much sexual violence for me.
if done well it's usually not a dealbreaker for me, but most of the time it's either a thinly veiled fetish or just handled terribly
>needs people who don't hate your culture and history to make stuff like that.
probably, I wonder where all those people went here in the west.

well, yesterday some girls were actually walking some little horsies like dogs, so i guess those horses did, in fact, dog for once. ^^

thanks for the info. i'll be looking out for that.

>have to make the villains atleast a bit likeable, if they're to live up to the previous movies.
i'd argue you have to make them amusing. as long as your entertained by their evilness, they don't have to be likeable or very complex. palpatine is one of my favorite villains and man did he earn himself that trip done the chute. :p

>that's the only thing I'll give modern hollywood.
word.

>I won't spend 70euro on a game that outside of that is empty as fuck
that's how you vote with your wallet. well done. o7 i will 70+ euro when they make games worth that much.

>I'll just look for something that's better at doing those things.
gotta dig through a mountain of trash for those few, precious gems.

>snipers were so fucking overpowered since they had the whole wounded mechanic for enemies, so you could daisy chain an entire outpost into the open and pick them off one by one.
you know, i was pretty sure i played 2 as well, but i'm not that convinced anymore. guess i just played the first one or completely forgot 2, which would be strange. sounds fun, though.

>guess that's a trend with bethesda games nowadays. Skyrim was the last game that felt truly immersive and alive.
yeah, i don't know if it's just me, but i don't feel like there's a lot of games that really draw you into the world anymore. or that there are many worlds worth getting into. whenever i watch these game reveal shows all the games look the same to me. nothing stands out anymore. :/

>what's that? I think I heard of a friend going to gamescom but idk if that's the same thing.
they always do a trailer show before the event now. should be 8:00 pm cest. maybe they'll show something new.

>made efforts to incorporate it into the further setting instead of relying on it.
true. there's some areas that lean into it more than others, but never too much. dragon butt hell was a bit strange, though.

it's unfashionable to care for that stuff these days. to be fair, i don't care much either, but i also don't actively despise it.

well my family thinks im not fat enough to limit my food. its not their responsibility of course but they keep buying it for me. its better to throw it out instead of eating it all so quickly. there used to be an illusion that I could resist it but now I know I just have to live alone to properly regulate my intake. they buy it because they want me happy. Im more happy when im thin. thanks for trying to help out.

>maybe oneitis, maybe just figured out that for himself the juice isn't worth the squeeze.
yeah im not him for sure. If I could repeat my experience, I would. life had colors, even if some of them were dark. im 21 and this is deep xDDD

im not asking for pats for being single, because it was not a choice for me. im like an incel but on a different level. imagine being on a buffet but all of the food is tasteless. so you search the whole place and find something tasty for once, only to have an allergic reaction and vomit it out some time later. not the best metaphor but you get it, you know me

hmm, I never watched any of the star wars movies (my dad kinda abhorred scifi and I did too for a long time) but he does seem very iconic
>i will 70+ euro when they make games worth that much.
I think the only game I ever paid full price for was mount and blade 2 bannerlord, cus at the time I thought it was worth the money. I was considering getting it for pc cus the mods are pretty awesome, but no way in hell im gonna pay full price for it this time, the devs dgaf anymore.
>gotta dig through a mountain of trash for those few, precious gems.
hmm, it'll take a while, I should probably just look on fucking reddit or something for a good spaceship game, I want something extensive tho (possibly managing your own mercenary fleet?) as well as hands on in that the ships are detailed and whatever
>nothing stands out anymore. :/
it's hard to do right nowadays, since that genre has a lot to live up to. people told me dragon age and baldurs gate was pretty good tho, atleast had more immersive companions
>maybe they'll show something new.
ah gotcha, I'd rather not see the modern gaming industry if i'm being honest
>i'm too tired of it to give it any benefit of the doubt anymore.
valid, I have that with a lot of things nowadays, especially anything anime/manga. I guess my weeb days might be fully over.
>it's unfashionable to care for that stuff these days.
Ig it depends on where you're from. my area seems to kinda have turned into nationalist hell (atleast my friends/family), I like the attention for history and culture from that, but I don't like the bias and revisionism. I want it captured realistically, in all the beauty and gloom associated with it

in the end it's your decision anyway, but i doubt you're anywhere near fat. i'd understand you aren't happy with your body composition, though. i've never been happy with myself at any weight.

>there used to be an illusion that I could resist it but now I know I just have to live alone to properly regulate my intake.
yeah. hard to eat like you want to with others around. maybe you should check out the carnivore diet. no cravings, no need to resist anything and you can adjust how much you eat quite easily. only thing you have to watch out for is quality.
