Shochu is a distilled spirit between 25 and 35% alcohol, whereas a strong zero is a chuu-hai, it's a vodka cocktail between 6 and 9% usually.

Also chuu-hai are more often than not full of shit, like fake sugars. It's cheaper and healthier to make your own cocktail with vodka, carbonated water, and a bit of lemon.

Opioids unironically have the power to turn your life around - I felt it when I started using it and did some stuff I couldn't force myself for years. My buddy improved his life situation while taking it as well.
But I'm such a fucking junkie, man. I just keep eating the pills while I have them, getting tolerance and fucking up the effect in the long run. I imagine getting the pills and spending them only on important life situations but I know I'll just get them and start dosing right away just to sit and do whatever shit I'd do normally now. I hate this.

Honestly the buddy who we started taking this shit with became kinda same in this regard. Actually, at first I was the one trying to bring some system to this, i.e. don't take more often than every 3 days, make some plans for the day, etc. But yeah after a while it goes out the window.
I feel like you have to have immense willpower to stop opioids when you have a huge stash of them. With other drugs like GABAergics, stims and pretty much any other stuff you can feel quick downsides and comedowns after you take them, you'll feel drowsy or dumb/intoxicated/paranoid/whatever. Taking low-dose opioids I literally felt like better version of myself, relaxed and actually happy in a way, able to do anything I want completely unconstrained by the anxiety and negative thoughts. Even with tolerance the effect doesn't fully go away at low dose. Withdrawals surely suck though.

It only got out of control when I got ~8g for 30 bucks batch, it was insane. Thought this would last but all the good suppliers disappeared overnight, the prices skyrocketed for the stuff that remained.

All of those were SR, only ever tried IR once (low dose).
I liked it, SR reduces the opioid nausea you might get initially and prolongs the effect in a way, making the comedown harder to notice. You could also chew the pill and that would make it IR essentially.

The issue isn't "LE EBIL DRUGS" (which is an arbitrary categorization that doesn't make any sense if you think for a single second), it's substance abuse in all its forms.

Addicts are ill fitted to take care of children, that includes all substances, legal or not, prescribed or not.

I'm an occasional substance user, just like most people are with alcohol except I do other substances (which are most of the time less dangerous than alcohol), and I have a family. Things are going just fine.

I've been doing 5mg of Ritalin intermittently and I also feel like a better version of myself, but without any real downsides, comedowns, or any urge to take it more frequently or try a higher dose. Sounds like whatever downsides you're getting for fucking around with opiates isn't worth it in the long run.

Withdrawals suck, but they don't last too long. If I was using as much amphetamines as I did tramadol lately, I'd probably be in a loony bin or weigh like 70 kg.
To be honest, my main motivation initially for doing tramadol was that it was the only pharma-produced drug that was available in my shithole, it's just that I grew to appreciate it with time. If there was ritalin/adderall here I probably wouldn't even consider opiates, but I was too tired with dealing with street quality garbage.

I've tried selank, and it sucked. All it did is make me extremely scatterbrained.

After researching I concluded that I can do 150mg of pregabalin twice a week without risk of tolerance, withdrawal, or long term negative effects such as cognitive issues.

Tuesday and Thursday. Those are my chillier days.

Even at a supposed 100mg dose on very little opioid tolerance O-DSMT gives me actually zero euphoria or warmth, like none at all, I can't believe how disappointed I am with it. I'd be willing to accept I was sent bunk since it was just a sample, but almost all of the other obvious effects are there. Itching that's pleasant to scratch, very constricted pupils, going crosseyed, strong sedation, emotional blunting, respiratory depression, lasts a good 8 hours. No nausea makes me kind of suspicious but that's it. I don't get it.

I only had 200mg pills, 100mg cost the same so it made no sense for me to take them.
First ~2 times for me it was just pure sedation as well, it was around 3-4th time when I felt the effects in full. I always read that opiates truly start working only after few times, and that's what actually happened.
