Should I tell my mom that I need help? I don't think she can do or say anything to help, I don't have a single other person in the world.

It's okay, she's your mother. If you really need help, you should ask for it. Even if she can't help, telling someone else about your issues can help a lot, it's gonna be ok anon.

I don't really think anyone likes their life, it's hard to imagine anyone not dreading the next day every day.

yes, but avoid making her feel like it's her fault for not getting you help sooner, just plain matter of fact tell her you need mental healthcare

Your mom is the only opportunity you're going to get to vent out your emotions to a woman without them seeing you less or getting the ick platonic or otherwise. I get it anon all I have left is my mom too, so yes you should open up to her. If she can even call herself a mother she'd be caring and understanding of your emotions, bottling it up inside has a propensity to make you snap
