College is a psyop
>You go 6 figures into debt to try and absorb as much information as you can over what are arguably the most important years of your life
>Your future salary weighs heavily on your performance here and acceptance into a strong graduate program or lucrative career
>Now college classes are predominantly female and the woman are gorgeous
>There are parties and drugs everywhere
>Every vice known to man is freely available tempting you with its sweet allure
>You are somehow expected instead to spend your weekends studying for hours on end and not drinking
This is a scam to trap men. No hetersexual man can survive this

these two statements are in contradiction. if everyone else is le partying, you could be also. clearly they find time for it.
you future salary outside of a tiny number of fields is going to depend far more on the social connections that you make than on your grades, as long as your gpa is okayish. the people that are meeting people at parties are meeting future references, collaborators, connections...as much as you and i may not like it, studying hard is not actually the best thing to do.
if you were studying as part of a studious group, then it would be like partying, but studying alone is basically a mistake. at least, it is if you care about salary. i cared more about actually learning and understanding things, and i found that even "study groups" of the nerdiest people at one of the nerdiest universities (cmu) would sort of go through the class material and then be like "fuck work" and play league or other video games as soon as class requirements were covered. they didnt care about like the environment and stuff or like sci fi as i would have hoped.
ive never had a "job" per se though so i'm not an expert but i did learn enough not to need one so...

You are a better student than I will ever be anon but I am going to grad school rn and I was one of the shit students you talked about. Now granted you are probably smarter than I am but I am struggling to put the needed hours of work in for my advanced classes even when I find the material genuinely interesting because I would much rather be getting high and hooking up like I did in undergrad (that did not work out for me long term, study hard kids) I am trying to go into industry applied research so I really do need the graduate degree and the material genuinely is fascinating it is just hard to be a mature late 20s adult when I get to flirt with cute 20-21 year old women
I am not strong enough to resist these temptations

Also you mention not needing a real job: some kinda applied data science role to allow you to systematically day trade or something? You must have something automated to be able to chill
