It's all about how you use it. Discord has a layer of anonymity to it because you do not have to post anything you don't want to pressure link any personal information, it's all voluntary. Also, no one can see you unless you let them.
My advice is that if you want to talk to someone from here, vet them though a proton mail and then Discord. Never send pictures of yourself or use your real name unless you really trust someone. Basic internet security shit. Also, don't join random Discord groups that people post here. I'm willing to bet they're full of scammers and sex pests.
