Anons, was Jimmy Kimmel martyred?

For those who don't know, his show has been paused indefinitely because of comments he made about Charlie Kirk's assassin. Basically, he said anyone saying the assassin was a leftist is lying and trying to obscure the truth, because the shooter was most definitely 100% a nazi chud.

I think everything he says on his show is scripted and approved. I don't think he would be dumb enough to say something like that of his own accord. Most people will hear him say that and never find out it isn't true, they'll just assume Jimmy Kimmel is telling facts.

if i was president of the world i would immediately execute anybody who cares about this forced culture war bullshit. who cares about jimmy fucking kimmel in the internet age?

Not what he said, and that wasn't even supposedly the "offensive" part. He was making fun of Trump saying he was doing just fine in response to a question about how he felt after Kirk's death, then jumped to talking about making a quarter billion dollar ball room in the white house.

2. The UVU campus was a Gun Free Zone by their own campus manual and the shooter didn't have a concealed carry permit. What's the point of passing more laws that aren't being enforced?

He's health care for all unless your wheezing. Not a proper organ donor for his kid he'd gleefully see you pulled apart for organs. Instead of you getting medicial care or insurance he'll gleefully watch someone rip you apart and tear out your insides to transplate into someone he likes. That's medicine. People don't bother proofreading shit on the news all the time, I wouldn't be surprised if late night was more lax. Also it's par for the course, ABC just wants to get ahead of the game before they get a jones or tucker situation. Kirk's estate probably has more financial backing behind it than the sand hook parents.

Japan has an extremely low homicide rate because they have extremely strict gun laws. Gun laws aren't meant to stop all cases of homicide by gun. Do you not understand this? Most homicides aren't like people meticulously planning to kill. They have a gun, someone did something to set them off, they shoot. If they didn't have the gun, it'd be vastly more difficult to kill someone.
Similar reason why women try to commit suicide much more than men but men are the vast majority of suicides. Women rarely use guns.

Did you watch the video of Iryna Zarutska being killed? The other passengers sitting around doing nothing. The murderer saying as he got off the bus "I got that white girl"? Might have been got the white girl. She knew she was dead. Nobody tried to help stop the bleeding. Nobody tried to comfort her in her last moments. High legal gun ownership predicts that more crimes and violence will be committed with guns, it doesn't predict that there will be more crime. I don't think any study ever has suggested that more people owning guns means more crime. I know in Australia that certain crimes spiked for a while after the gun buyback, then things leveled out back to what you'd expect, with a downward trend in crime that has been ongoing since the end of WW2.

All of those methods are vastly less effective than gun shot. This is exactly why women kill themselves at a fraction of the rate of men.
You act like guns aren't especially effective at killing but also you really need guns to protect yourself because they're so effective at killing. For the record, I don't particularly care about guns since it's a failing issue, but conservatives are obviously completely insincere about caring about the insane rate of homicides in the US. Death by homicide from a stranger with a gun or not, is still an incredibly rare form of death.

Also, please note: I want evidence of general crime and violence dropping a tangible, significant amount after the restriction of firearms ownership in a country that previously had high general crime or gun crime, not just a reduction in the use of guns in crime and violence, because that's stupid. Pointing at a country that, after firearms ownership was restricted, had its general crime rate drop at the rate it was dropping pre-restriction is also deeply disingenuous and is specious reasoning.

What is actually happening is that Media corporations want to do whatever they want and make money from captive audiences with no effort. South Park was targeting their own owners by trying to piss off the president and get his attention to attack the Corporations, because the corporations are the ones that want to fuck the talk show hosts.

I just said gun control is a failing issue and that I don't care. The UK's crazy knife homicides still leads to a tiny fraction of the homicide rate of the US. If you have a gun and are emotionally charged you can kill someone in a split second from a large distance, with a knife it's much more difficult, which is why the UK homicide rate is so low.
