Not an American Christian but how common is it to cremate bodies in US? Especially amongst evangelical types

cremation is more common than burial, it's just cheaper

It's fairly common because burial plots and coffins are ridiculously expensive. I imagine they went with cremation because any gravesite would be vandalized until the end of time. Unless Donald Israeli Trump gives him tomb of the unknown soldier treatment or something.

not common in my anecdotal experience, even with the expenses.
people will say they didn't bury him because of how much it costs but these are multi millionaires we're talking about who also got a million from donations, so i doubt money was the issue
