When the proletariat opposes migrants, it is an expression of the exact same urge that drives you to defend "trans rights," "BLM," and so on; you are engaging in the social politics because you perceive the threat against the health and survival of one group as needing immediate assistance, in the same way that indigenous white people see the threats to themselves as needing immediate assistance. Statistically (in all nations in all historical periods) people in cities don't have kids at replacement levels. Yes. We know that. Everyone understands that mass immigration is promoted in order to create ethnic divisions in society so that people can be played against each other. The problem isn't that people don't know it, the problem is people are in general conditioned to think emotionally and react reflexively, such that they don't know how to resolve contradictions in their values or examine them in rational debate. The result is that they simply block out such conflicts, and continue to support and champion entirely contradictory policies, essentially by inertia since they can't bring themselves to abandon support for anything.
