problem is, what is justice?
ive been reflecting on it a lot. it would seem the adage "an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind" is true. the world would just be a worse off place if we lived like that

which then begs the question; what would be justice? if you could interact with god, what would it look like? to me it would seem like maybe success and wellbeing and thriving would be the best revenge. i honestly am not sure, maybe you're right.

yeah, thats one way to look at it. but, on the offhand, if you let go of the mistreatment, then you have a "karmic argument" with god that you are owned to some degree, if that makes sense

No. The interesting thing about justice is that society functions best when it is ignored. Societies and religions that treat criminals well are universally the most successful ones for a variety of reasons complex to get into. Justice is best ignored, both societally and individually.
Justice (Read; resentment) is either a misstep in evolution that has hindered humanity for its entire history, or played some part in the primitive, dynamic eras when we roamed as small cohesive bands that can no longer be simulated. And now we just have to deal with it, forever, as the (populace) drive for every major conflict literally for all of history. Justice will give us another world war, and justice will one day be used to render us extinct.
