You get to a point where you're so used to it, there's no more coping or justifications. It's an extension of you like how your limbs extend out of your torso. How can you give up on something you never had a shot at to begin with, this is what it always was. And it's not about sex, it's about relationships with people. Friendships, acquantainceships and relationships, these were always outside of you not something you participate in.
