Why do lefties always need everything tailored to their worldview? It's like they can't handle people being different. Everything has to align with their ideology 24/7 or it's suddenly a problem. They don't seem to see people as flawed humans anymore. Just "good" or "bad" based on some weird purity test. No forgiveness, no nuance, just cancel and move on. Kinda feels anti-human when you think about it.

I'm not really political and don't follow politics all that closely. It's just not something I get too invested in. That said, I've noticed something and wanted to hear others' thoughts. It seems like people on the right are often more willing to tolerate or accept others with different political views, whereas people on the left can be less forgiving when someone disagrees with them politically. I'm not making a judgment, just genuinely curious if others have seen this too or if it's just my impression.

No, this is a valid perspective and understanding of the world right now. I'm not political. I don't vote. I don't watch the news. I don't have social media. But holy goddamn fuck is it impossible to fucking please anyone that's left. I made genuine efforts to educate myself and be understanding on this shit and it never fucking ends. I'm a leftist and I used to be very open to opposing views but I've grown increasingly intolerant as I've gotten older. I no longer have any desire to associate with people who are socially right-wing at all. It's not even so much the beliefs but their personality and neurology. They're just bad people and also usually very stupid and delusional people.

"right" generally means conservative, which generally can be loosely translated to "leave me alone, i just want to grill".
