Any anons feel the tides have shifted? I don't wanna get into some religious debate I don't even follow that stuff but I do align more with Christianity or Catholicism because I was raised that way. After Charlie Kirk (who I didn't really watch) I almost feel at peace. I'm not as angry anymore. I feel like I just know who my enemies are and can laugh at them because they are evil.

Follow that feeling and join a church, it will help give you more semblance of structure than this place. Jesus's teachings are the ultimate guide to a happy and fulfilling life, even if you don't fully connect with everything it's hard not to love Jesus once you learn his story. He was a real man who said he was God, performed miracles, and rose from the dead. A man who raises from the dead, people seriously listen to and they did which is what led to everything up to this moment.

Christianity went on to develop every advanced society we have today. When Christianity is removed, it crumbles and we're seeing that in action as well.

I challenge you to open a Bible app and read the book of John. Read Jesus's story for yourself.

You don't have to read the whole Bible, that is an overwhelming task. The Gospels, aka the first 4 books of the new testament and the historical record of Jesus's life told from 4 different perspectives, are all you really need to start. Everything else after it in the new testament is telling you how to be a proper Christian, and almost everything before in the old testament is historical stories of Jesus's lineage and foreshaowing him coming to earth. The old testament is awesome but kinda optional reading for new Christians desu.

"Idiot" here, I could have elaborated on that better, I'm not teaching prosperity gospel. Christians still have far from perfect lives, we suffer. We are called to suffer for His sake, and for our own sake, suffering is character growth. But we have hope, prayer, and we have the Lord's power on our side. Our lives are not necessarily better than anyone else's, but our mindset on how to deal life is because we know we never have have to face anything alone. We have God and we have our church community. And we know that when we die, we get to walk with our creator.

There are no religious people anymore. People value religion exclusively for it's cultural values, they don't actually believe in god. They are larpers

That happens a lot but I think maybe your own personal negative experience is getting in the way, as someone in the Christian circle there are so many real people who truly believe God loves them, it is not a larp or just a convenience for most. I understand if you are blackpilled based on the people of bad faith on the internet, this board is a bad place to try and sell Christ to people. The world is so much more than the internet, and God us doing work in people's lives all around you
