i like my local bar with pool tables because i can just wait for someone to play or i just walk up to another loner or a fun looking group and say "hey ill buy a game of pool if yall are down" then just shake everyones hand and smile and nod and make conversation
usually its people i wouldnt really be friends with, but its a nice way to get socializing in and build presence in my neighborhood

im unironically above average looking and approachable (apparently) to the point where it makes other people jealous (even though i dont try to do anything). people often just decide they like me. however i do very poorly in extraverted normie environments like this. my powers only work in places where im consistently present, where im already known and my introversion isn't problematic

nobody's good at or comfortable with a completely new experience the first or like eighth time they do it, give yourself a chance to actually settle into it acclimate. I went to the same bar alone every weekend for months before people started talking to me. flirted with and groped plenty of drunk sluts and even eventually formed a small group of drinking buddies.
