I can't understand hating clingy partners
I like hugs. I like getting calls or texts. I like it when someone says that I make their day better and they want to be around me. I like cuddling under a blanket. What the fuck man, why is it socially unacceptable to be clingy? Why do people act like it's some mind of moral failing?

I would fucking kill for a clingy girlfriend.

because a lot of times that is the only thing holding them together, else there is nothing wrong with it

Women hate it mostly because for some reason they think that you should not want or need them in the relationship.

There is such a thing as a partner who's very affectionate and cares a lot about you, and that's fine, but clinginess is rarely just about that. Here are some issues:
>clingy people are almost universally anxious and insecure as fuck so they need constant validation
>they're often paranoid and controlling because they think they could lose you at any moment
>they tend to throw tantrums when you're not conforming to their unrealistic, romanticized idea of a partner
>I'm autistic and a loner, I need space. Clingy partners can sometimes take offense to that and feel hurt when I don't want to be together
>no one is that interesting that I'd want to spend every waking moment next to them. If we have our own separate lives we actually grow as people and have more shit to talk about when we get together

I like chocolate but I don't want to be force-fed a 10 pound chocolate bar

i imagine it's like... when it starts to feel like more of a responsibility than anything
i mean i'd love for a girl to cling to me but sometimes i need my alone time (unless she was willing to drop whatever to follow me along which is not always)
by then she may get upset if you don't include her and she may start to bitch at you for it, and if you give in, it won't be as enjoyable anymore

i want a girl to healthily cling to me but i can definitely see myself hating to be with anyone who restricts my activities that much

I don't know. I like feeling needed. I can understand the expectations issue and that it can be exhausting. But if I like being around someone I like being around them, and I understand from the get-go that a relationship is work.

Love is not enough. John Lennon is dead and Trent Reznor is alive.

There's nothing wrong with it. It's just a different relationship dynamic than the ones that other people have "normally". It's just harder to find someone who is into that same dynamic but when you find someone who is into that same dynamic it is perfect!!!

most relationships are transactional and most people would be unfaithful
clingy people are the exception to this and they annoy the norm

Hmm. Maybe someday I will. Probably not.

Honestly getting cheated on might be one of my greatest anxieties in a relationship. I really hope it never happens to me.

Chads hate clinginess because he doesn't want to commit to one woman, he wants to fuck as many as possible for maximum seed spreading. Women hate clinginess because they despise any form of mate guarding, especially if you're more towards the beta side. They make it synonymous with weakness and insecurity, which it honestly is but it's justified.

Well, Anon, I used to think the same.
Then, my clingy girlfriend went to university.
Because human touch is so integral and important to her existence, she saw it better to break up with me and fuck some other dude than to stay with me in a long-distance relationship.
I can never trust women again.
I am hurt.
And I will never be in a relationship again.

I had one. Yandere/clingy girls showcase the purest form of love. She always wanted to call everyday, always texted me, looked at my pictures, admiring my appearance.
It was long distance. If I could I would've gave her this dick. I miss her.

My gf straight up stopped having sex with me after I genuinely fell in love and started showing real affection and emotion. Currently ignoring her and treating her like shit to try and bring the spark back...

Women are fucking evil

We met on a dating app and her profile stated she was 18, BUT, being cautious as I am I asked for proof. She kept making up excuses to why she couldn't send her I.D and I ghosted her days later
Not sure if women purposely do this to get older guys into trouble, but I'm not gonna get wrapped up in a "he groomed me!" situation. Dating online fucking sucks these days.
