I don't hate fat men, but it can be a sign of not caring for yourself and indicative of mental illness. There are also the obvious health implications for the man, but it can also affect the health of his children. I made my husband start exercising with me and started handling his meals myself when we started dating, because if I was going to be with someone I didn't want to worry about him dying decades before me. He's a good husband and a wonderful father, so I hope that my efforts will keep him with us for a long time.

I kinda convinced myself if I ever got a girlfriend I would lose weight through just being more active with her, and it's probably true since my current life is totally empty.

Losing weight is pointless, especially if you're into late wizardry. No amount of weihgt lost will bring back those missed years which are now forever ruined. No chance of going back and getting to experience teenage love.

There's also been disturbing reports that losing (a lot of) weight has not guaranteed getting laid, even though women are obliged to reward you with sex and love in that case. Becoming a chad is not the reward it used to be..

I only date fat men because I unfortunately have a fetish for them.
The biggest obstacle is that, across all the fat men I've dated, they have the least amount of motivation to care about themselves - this is obvious from how they look but it really hits you when you see how their garbage piles up around them, how rarely they take care of their hygiene, how rarely they'll stand up for themselves (or you), how backwards their financial priorities are.
