So why these cunts stopped evolving?
I mean 400 million years is a long fucking time.

Progressive libtards cannot into basic evolutionary theory because their ideology requires everything to "improve" or whatever. The horseshoe crab is just chilling. It's robust enough to survive and that's all that matters.

Crabs are the final state of evolution.

They aren't even crabs. It's a misnomer. They're closer to trilobites.

Crab in the sense of shape, not phylogeny

Conservative tards think their skydaddy farted things into existence, so there's that.

Yes, in the sense of shape. They don't fit any criteria for carcinization.

You can be a non-Christian conservative. You cannot be a libtard without believing in some retarded notion of progress.

Why do you need more crab, OP?

Aren't these guys endangered these days? I feel like they might have reached an evolutionary dead end, where new adaptations don't occur easily for whatever reason. Rather than this form being peak performance necessarily. Although having survived for so long it is clearly a good form.

fucking look at it, it's literally a tank, it has sloped armor and stealth features, along with a giant boom for EW and counter measures

go ask alligators why theyve been around so long, or why chimps turned into us

They did evolve, but their bodyplan stayed relatively the same as there wasn't any strong pressures. Genetically they will be different, same goes with all "living fossils", which is a pretty shit term

no xp, no evolve

You may not like it, but this is what a perfectly fit organism looks like.
Anonymous No.16842482 [Report]
No pressures to force dormant mutations or current ones to improve. Once a species is in harmony with all around them. Well what is there to improve?

To put it simply a species that has no adaptions and falls into a role is a dead end or becomes a system for another species to exist.

Evolution is ultimately just recognizing the tendency for stability to persist, which happens for self evident reasons. If a pattern that occurs is stable enough in relation to ongoing changes in its environment, stable enough to persist long enough to be called a thing at all then obviously that pattern persists. At least as long as it can, which shows there are degrees to stability or persistence which logically leads to more stable patterns emerging over time and persisting over more time. Nothing ever stops evolving regardless of whether it’s a rock or a tree or an aware living thing. It’s all just a matter of how long one pattern that was generated by the process of evolution can stall the process itself. Things that stall more efficiently stick around longer and then we notice them more.

Btw this line of logic pretty neatly unifies evolution and causality itself. Nothing can change directions unless it curves because you can’t negate previously established “rules” to create a new one. You can only introduce new results by adding new “rules” that still follow those that are already established. Always a curve, never a new angle altogether. If this then that always blurs infinitely between this and that the closer you look.
