The main character stops not even halfway but 80% short of his worldwide genocide in self defense, all to give his "friends" (which betrayed him and his people) a few decades of peace, not taking into account that because of what he did and the hate they already had for his people, they will for sure now be completely wiped off the earth and all memory of them erased, rightfully so.
