Yeah the magic beam is really strong and fun. I really like Holy/Fire/Magic for the huge breath attack that heals allies. Triple Lightning for the BHS buff can be really based if you hold it in your pocket and bust it out when the boss gets horny.
The really slept on one is Holy/Holy/Magic or Magic/Magic/Holy because they can let you just DUMP a major spell like Azur or a Dragon Breath with no cost.
