To be fair, every single character feels like they were a failed opportunity. Good OC designs, very bad execution. These writers aren't fit for their job at all. Likely because they don't know how to write feminine characters and refuse to write masculine characters. Ian and Evan literally believe men and women are the same and that totally makes the cast bland as FUCK.

Feminism is ironically more toxic to women than Men are in general. Feminism doesn't preserve femininity or motherhood. Men like Ian have even more internalised resentment towards the femininity because he might be envious of how much attention women get.
