No, but it was mostly caused by Epic shilling the ever living fuck out of UE5. Pretending that it's some apex technology capable of doing everything. From making movies to games and everything in between. But devs like Josh Sawyer noted that it still isn't capable of breaking the world space into smaller cells without huge performance hits. Something Bethesda mastered 20 years previously.
