Prodigy is the only decent NuTrek specifically because it doesn't have any woke nonsense in it. The boy and girl characters end up banging by the end. Chakotay and Janeway's relationship is full of romantic tension. The show is aggressively hetero.
In context of your show, I appreciate how Aaron Waltke's Twitter is just him being autistic over Star Trek canon, while Mike McMahan's Twitter is just endless seething over the orange man. It really encapsulates the attitudes of the two shows. One is a celebration of Star Trek made by genuine autists, and the other is screeching of a nostalgic woketard.
