The Angel isn't someone that the FUN gang recognizes when they see the mural for it.
The Angel is (You). Just like it was in Undertale. That's why Hero 1 is a "Cage". They're containing the Angel, us.
But in Weird Route, we've put a new SOUL into Noelle an made her stronger. We're turning her into the Angel there, just like she always wanted.

The Cage is the thing holding the Heart. It's a cage for the Angel.
The gang all see the portrait of the Angel, but we don't. They don't act like they recognize it, they seem confused what it is. The screen it happens we just see black, cause it's meant to reflect our screen so we see ourselves there.
We also literally have an angel ornament thrown on the SOUL in Chapter 4, and everyone religious tells Kris they need "to let the Angel guide them".
And it fits with the Undertale parallels. In Undertale, we are 100% the Angel. The one that will empty the underground of Monsters. The monsters see this as either being freed or being killed, which ends up true either route you take.
